Great story for Alex as he masters the medieval period, but doesn't quite manage Margaret. Great villain, supporting characters, plot, and historical appearances by King Richard the Lionheart, and his mother Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine.

This book grabs one after just a few pages and is exceeding hard to put down. The characters are well developed and become so real and experience the harsh realities of the time. Loved it and can not get enough of her writing for her work is far and above so many works out there today.
Wow, a great read. I'm surprised it has few reviews! Many twist. A man goes back in time. Unique with many twist. Over-all a great read. A different concept of love & romance. If my review has helped you , please click yes.
I like the way this author revisits many individuals in the same main two families. It makes the context richer and more realistic.
This is another excellent time-travel story by Ms Kurland!! Alex thinks he's on his way to sunny Barbados for some fun in the sun with scantily dressed women. Wrong, he ends up in cold and cloudy medevil London. His adventures start there and just get better and better!!!!
Just as with all the other great Time Travel Romance Books Lynn Kurland has written. "The Very Thought of You" does not disappoint. Truly an entertaining good Story with Medevil - Suspense , Surprises ,Twists and true Romance to enjoy
These books are great to read! They keep you enthralled the whole time. I can't wait to read the next in the series!
Good story, not my favorite, but still pretty good. Loved Alex but not Margaret. she was a little too unbelievable even for me. could not see what he saw in her, She was too mannish and didn't seem very likeable. I still enjoyed the story and for me anything that Lynn Kurland writes is worth more then one read. sure wish her books would come more often. I pre-order anything with her name attached to it. This is a book I read in paperback several years ago. Still I had to buy it again in kindle format
